For her <a href="https://people.com/style/gisele-bundchen-40th-birthday-trees/">40th birthday</a>, for instance, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gisele-bundchen-38-birthday-runway-model-moments">B&uuml;ndchen</a> planted 40,000 trees. 
 
More recently, though, the muse to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/alexander-mcqueen-flagship-smiljan-radic">Alexander McQueen</a> returned from a camping trip with her family in which they stayed in an open field. Posted on her Instagram the images are joined by a caption that wrote: &quot;Everything that is happening in our lives is happening for us, it serves a purpose. Trust the process, even the challenges, delays &amp; detours are here to help us grow and expand.&quot;

She also wrote about a recent study taken in the UK that concluded that 20,000 of its participants who spent at least two hours a week in the middle of nature showed improvements in health and well-being.
