For Emily DiDonato, style is second nature. Discovered at the age of ten and having worked in the industry full-time for over a decade, the model has racked up constant campaigns, covers, and runway credits over the years, all while becoming an instantly recognizable face in the fashion world and beyond. With her constant collaboration in the modeling sphere and impressive pursuit of passions ranging from yoga to psychology, DiDonato constantly does it all, and she's not slowing down any time soon.

In fact, the multi-talented model has been taking it to the next level. Over the past year, DiDonato has taken to YouTube to share everything from beauty and style tutorials to peeks at the glamorous (and not so glamorous) parts of her high-fashion lifestyle, and she just made her status as a creator official by uploading a channel trailer on November 24. The stylish talent has seamlessly bridged fashion and the internet with grace, and 245K subscribers and counting eagerly await her weekly uploads, following the ups and downs of her chic, busy life.

Last week, DiDonato kicked off winter by joining Net-A-PorterMoncler, and a slew of fashionable guests for a ski getaway to Jackson Hole. The event fêted Net-A-Porter's vacation shop, chicly titled Jet-A-Porter, which caters to sunny getaways in the warmer months and spends the winter curating a wardrobe for a glamorous life in the snow. At Jackson Hole's Amangani luxury resort, guests enjoyed cocktail and ski events amidst perusing the many luxury brands that the shop has to offer. DiDonato took some time out of her snowy escape to talk to L’Officiel USA about the event, her holiday plans, and her secrets to maintaining her natural glow through the harsh months of winter.

You’re in Jackson Hole with Net-A-Porter. What are you most looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to skiing, just enjoying that fresh mountain air, and spending time with this amazing group of people. I love ski vacations because I get to be active most of the day and really disconnect from my phone.

Is this your first time in Jackson Hole?

It is actually my second time here! I came here last winter with my husband for a ski trip and we had an amazing time. My favorite places are The Kitchen, Handle Bar, Mangy Moose, and the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.

Tell us about Amangani.

Amangani is such a special place. It is so tranquil. It really allows you to disconnect with the rest of the world. I love waking up early and just having coffee, sitting by the fireplace, and enjoying the incredible view.

Are you a skier or a snowboarder? How did you learn?

I’m a skier but I only learned a few years ago when I met my husband. We actually met on a flight to Vail, Colorado when I was on my way there to shoot a ski story with Vogue Australia (even though I had never skied in my life). He is a great skier and it is something we really love to do together, but I need to invest more time. It’s something he really loves, so I had to learn!

You’ve been making videos on YouTube for about a year now. What is your favorite kind of video to make?

I love making makeup and beauty videos the most. I wasn’t surprised that people were most interested in and engaged with beauty content. I’m so [lucky] to have access to so many experts in the beauty and fashion industry, and being able to share their knowledge with my subscribers is my favorite thing. I’m most commonly asked about my husband and my skincare regime!

What festive fashion looks would you recommend for holiday party season?

For the holidays, I like to feel comfortable but stylish. My favorite look right now is a pair of high-waisted trousers, some sort of sparkly top or bustier, slouchy boots, and a sparkly earring. The bustier makes it a little sexy, but everything else is so comfortable!

Favorite winter clothing purchase from Net-A-Porter?

I just bought a pair of slouchy Prada boots that are to die for!

How do you deal with the cold weather drying out your skin?

I drink lots of water and take cooler showers so my skin doesn’t get so dry. I always use a vitamin C serum, and a moisturizer as well to keep my skin hydrated.

Favorite part about winter? What are you looking forward to most?

I love skiing, and of course, the holidays to be with my family in upstate New York. I actually love the winter because I love staying in and cooking dinner, and for some reason that seems more acceptable when it's freezing outside!

What’s your ultimate winter beauty tip?

My ultimate winter beauty tip is to stick to your skincare regime, drink tons of water, and to not take such steaming hot showers. Super-hot showers in the winter feel amazing but dry my skin out even more.

Do you use any beauty products in particular to help you combat the effects of high altitude?

I think at high altitudes the only thing that tends to help is a good humidifier in the room!

What is the one thing you cannot live without in the winter?

My cashmere track suit. It is my absolute favorite thing to wear when I’m at home or traveling. Comfortable and so warm.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever received from a makeup artist or hairstylist while on set?

From a makeup artist, it would be to use my fingers and to have fun with makeup. I’ve worked with so many experts, and sometimes I would feel so afraid to really try to do my makeup. Makeup is meant to be fun and doesn’t have be perfect.

For hair, it would be to wash my hair less to improve the texture and it really did help. I only wash my hair about twice a week now, and it has really helped with the dryness and frizz.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?

My love for Bravo and reality TV.

How are you spending the holidays?

I’m not sure yet! Still trying to sort this out. My husband and I might be going to Australia and New Zealand!
