Bright colors, bold textures, and dramatic proportions&mdash;see all of the highlights from the Cruise 2023 season.

Cruise 2023 kicked off in May, and we couldn't be happier. The array of shows proves that color and texture aren't to be feared in the upcoming seasons. The celebration has just begun, and there are still more shows soon to come. From Proenza Schouler to Chanel, here are some of the best highlights from Cruise 2023.

Proenza Schouler

Designed by Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-from-proenza-schouler-fall-winter-2022">Proenza Schouler&rsquo;s</a> Cruise 2023 collection is a mix of their past, present, and future. The launch consisted of corset tops reminiscent of their Fall/Winter 2003 collection and nipped-waist jackets inspired by 1940s proportions. When it wasn&rsquo;t the bold color palette stealing the show, it was the fabrics. This collection had an intriguing but cohesive mix of textures&ndash;jersey knits, silk velvets, and sequin knits that gave the show an eveningwear look with a slightly casual feel.

Givenchy

This collection was in classic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chloe-fall-winter-2022-gabriela-hearst-runway-photos">Givenchy</a> fashion in the best way possible. Matthew M. Williams goes back to the basics with this Cruise 2023 collection. From the perfect white t-shirt to crystal-embellished denim, Willams' collection covered it all. The capsule consisted of an almost all-black color palette, some bold hues, and unique animal prints. Included was a classic slip dress in a bright crimson red, a zebra-print mini dress with an embellished hem, and a sharply tailored suit.

Chlo&eacute;

Referencing The Tragedy of MacBeth (2021), <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chloe-fall-winter-2022-gabriela-hearst-runway-photos">Chlo&eacute;</a> x Barbor brings a renaissance look for Cruise 2023. In her latest collection, Creative Director Gabriela Hearst combines environmentalism with fashion. Chlo&eacute;&rsquo;s circular denim featured in the launch is composed of 87 percent recycled cotton and 13 percent hemp. The textile is largely utilized throughout the project, from jackets to boots. Leather is also highlighted in this collection. The duo curated a white leather corset dress with a medieval-inspired silhouette.&nbsp;

Chanel

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/chanel-cruise-2023-collection-monte-carlo-monaco-fashion-show">Chanel</a> brought the heat during Cruise 2023. Taking inspiration from the lavish lifestyle of Monaco natives, Chanel mixes the old with the new. The show&rsquo;s venue wasn&rsquo;t too far from a location where Chanel&rsquo;s artistic director Virginie Viard and the late Karl Lagerfield used to rendezvous. It&rsquo;s all about the nostalgia. The collection seamlessly highlighted classic Chanel trademarks, like the tweed suits, with a more modern twist.

Creative Director Alessandro Michele has brought a timeless charm to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/gucci-goes-hollywood-for-gucci-love-parade">Gucci</a> over the past couple of years. Cosmic energy radiated through this year&rsquo;s Cruise 2023 collection. The show took place at the Castel del Monte in Italy, adding to the collection's mystique charm. The collection consisted of crystal embellishments to reflect the night sky, unique emblems, and a powerful color scheme.

Louis Vuitton

Nicolas Ghesqui&egrave;re utilized every element for this show. Staged at the Salk Institute in La Jolla, California,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-cruise-2023-collection-fashion-show-photos-san-diego">Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s</a> latest collection reflects a warrior on the rise. The pieces made of shimmering fabrics, unique textiles, and strong silhouettes are almost comparable to armor.

Moschino

With the 1960s disco inspiration apparent, Jeremy Scott curates a hippie-chic for the latest <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-moschino-spring-summer-2022-nyfw-runway">Moschino</a>&nbsp;collection. Scott utilized all the best parts of disco attire. This collection features leather crop tops and mod skirts with floral appliques, psychedelic prints, and crochet bell bottoms for that vintage look and feel.

Christian Dior

In the heart of Seville, Spain, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-cruise-2023-show-spain-seville" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a> revisits flamenco culture for their Resort 2023 show. Inspired by flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya, the collection displays strength and femininity like no other.

JW Anderson
