Whenever major changes happen at a fashion house, the fashion week that follows is undoubtedly important. To celebrate their 40th anniversary, Escada’s global design director Niall Sloan showcased his first collection for the brand. From silhouettes that directly referenced the eighties, to jewel-toned power suits, the collection was a cheeky nostalgia-laced presentation.

Backstage, the models looked like stylish renditions of the cult film The Heathers. With glowing bare skin and Farrah Fawcett hair, Sloan attempts to connect with the current generation that’s proven to be vintage-obsessed.

Come backstage with us to experience the show for yourself.
