While it&rsquo;s for the best that we leave the micro-trend clothing in the past, it was still a fun moment to enjoy the style as we watched the movie.

For some watchers, the best part of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/olivia-wilde-praises-boyfriend-harry-styles-dont-worry-darling-movie-wraps-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Don&rsquo;t Worry Darling</a> was that &ldquo;it felt like a movie.&rdquo; For others, it was the '50s-inspired costumes that we couldn&rsquo;t get enough of. In a movie about the late <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/marilyn-monroe-most-iconic-roles" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Marilyn Monroe</a>, standout fashion moments were inevitable. While the film itself received mixed reviews, there was an agreed consensus that the costume choices were nothing less than perfection. <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/ana-de-armas-movies-marilyn-monroe-blonde-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ana De Armas</a> really pulled off the essence of Monroe as she sported some of the most iconic looks of the blonde bombshell. Said looks included the vibrant pink dress from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and the renowned white pleated dress from Seven Year Itch.

With wardrobe choices such as Eleven&rsquo;s flannel shirts and Eddie Munson's&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/graphic-tshirt-history-band-merch" target="_blank" rel="noopener">graphic tees</a>, the show perfectly captured &lsquo;80s fashion while still staying true to the characters. With all the chaos that ensued throughout the show, it was impressive to see it provide some serious fashion inspiration along the way.

While we&rsquo;re not exactly running to buy the first medieval dress we see, no one can deny that the costumes in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/game-of-thrones-prequel-house-of-the-dragon-hbo-first-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">House Of The Dragon</a> played a big part in the show&rsquo;s success. The elaborate wardrobe of each character served as an extension of a greater meaning such as the black colors of Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D&rsquo;Arcy) versus the green colors donned by Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke).
