<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CthvncFLzCs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rumors</a> have been swirling since June this year that one of the members of top K-pop boy group, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/blackpink-jennie-bts-v-dating-rumors-instagram-post" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BTS</a> is being picked up by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/cartier-le-voyage-recommence-high-jewelry-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cartier</a> to be their ambassador. At that time, fans and media outlets were speculating that the member is likely to be Jin. We've now got confirmation it is in fact, Kim Tae-hyung, better known by his stage name V, who is becoming the French Maison's newest global ambassador.&nbsp;
The announcement was made on July 18 when it was unveiled by the Maison that V was also the star of their latest Panth&egrave;re de Cartier campaign. "When it came to embodying the magnetism and aura of the panther, our choice naturally fell on V," Senior Vice-president and Chief Marketing Officer, Arnaud Carrez explained, "He has the look and strength of character. A personality whose choices are guided by creativity as a dancer, musician or art lover, with this style and this elegance that belong only to him."
V will be joining an already star-studded list of ambassadors for the Maison, including <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/jackson-wang-k-pop-interview-china" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jackson Wang</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/nicholas-hoult-elle-fanning-interview-renfield-nosferatu-the-great" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Elle Fanning</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/rami-malek-iconic-roles-bohemian-rhapsody-mr-robot" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rami Malek</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/willow-smith-music-the-anxiety-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Willow Smith</a> and more. The K-pop icon is already famously the face of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/celine-men-fall-winter-2023-show-every-look" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Celine</a> and his incredible influence has seen many pieces worn by him instantly selling out. We would imagine the same is likely to be the case for any jewelry piece the star chooses to don.&nbsp;
