Jung Kook of BTS is Calvin Klein's Newest Global Ambassador

The K-Pop sensation is making his mark with his first solo ambassadorship.

Even though iconic K-pop boy group BTS is taking a five-year hiatus, member Jung Kook has just been announced as the newest global brand ambassador for Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear. While the entire BTS group has worked with several labels, such as Louis Vuitton, this is the 25-year-old South Korean singer's first solo ambassadorship. In the new campaign shot by Park Jong Ha, Jung Kook wears the brand's Spring/Summer 2023 collections. 

Arguably one of the most famous groups in the world, BTS is taking a break until 2025 to serve in the South Korean mandatory military service. Along with Jung Kook's collaboration with Calvin Klein, RM was spotted at Milan Fashion Week attending the Bottega Veneta show. Just last week, Jimin released his EP, Face. SUGA posted a photo recently that captured all of the BTS members with Jin who left for his military service last December. Needless to say, the entire fanbase was extremely moved by the update.

With the announcement of this exciting collaboration, the Global Chief Marketing Officer at Calvin Klein, Jonathan Bottomley, states, "We pride ourselves on identifying globally relevant talent whose cultural impact and values align with our own.
