Doutzen Kroes and LOEWE Have Joined Forces to Save The Elephants

It was during a visit to Kenya four years ago that Doutzen Kroes met a very special family who was extraordinarily committed to the welfare of elephants. It was then that she learned that 30,000 elephants are being killed every year because of poaching and trafficking–in other words, 1 elephant every 15 minutes.

Four years later, the Dutch model has worked passionately as a global ambassador for Knot On My Planet: an organization committed to saving the friendly giants by raising money for the Elephant Crisis Fund. To show its support for the organization, Loewe has launched an adorably stylish tan Elephant Mini bag with handmade beading by Samburu Trust women from northern Kenya, who live among the elephants and are renowned for their skilled craftsmanship.
