Our favorite punk princess is celebrating her birthday this week, and there&rsquo;s no better way to commemorate than with a trip down memory lane. In an interview with <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIotUWJNQLE&amp;t=358s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Vogue</a>, Stefani explains that she has always been a fashionista, even when on a budget. Many of the iconic No Doubt-era looks were outfitted with boxed hair dye and over-the-top clothes sent for free. Since dating the No Doubt bassist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tonykanal/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tony Kanal</a>, Stefani became infatuated with Indian culture, rich colors, and opulent fabrics. Stefani was frequently spotted sporting silky mid-drift baring skirts with decadent jewelry and henna tattoos.&nbsp; &nbsp;

It has been magic ever since. The duo agrees that some of the happiest career memories were created making the tomboy-rocker vision come to life.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Since becoming the ultimate girl boss on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/ariana-grande-will-replace-nick-jonas-on-the-voice-season-21" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Voice,</a> Stefani has preferred classic Hollywood style with a nod to her punk rock roots. Platinum blonde hair and red lips are frequently accompanied by a cascade of rhinestones, vintage letterman jackets, and equally impressive pumps to match.&nbsp;
