The New York City socialite and his brother were once referred to as "NYC’s Most Beautiful Teenage Brothers.”

Late Monday night, it was reported that <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/save-the-date/official-nyfw-bellisima-prosecco-2018" target="_blank">Harry Brant</a>, the son of supermodel <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/supermodels-honored-azzedine-alaia-at-last-night-s-fashion-awards" target="_blank">Stephanie Seymour</a> and businessman Peter M. Brant, died on Sunday from a drug overdose after stuggling with addiction for many years. He was 24.

In a statement to the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/18/style/harry-brant-dead.html" target="_blank">New York Times</a>, his family said, &quot;We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease. He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.&quot;

Having grown up in Manhattan, Brant, and his older brother, Peter Jr., were very much involved in the city&#39;s fashion and nightlife scene.&nbsp;At one point, the pair were dubbed&nbsp;&quot;NYC&rsquo;s Most Beautiful Teenage Brothers.&rdquo;

Through their parents&#39; fashion and art&nbsp;affliations, runways shows, events, and&nbsp;parties&nbsp;were&nbsp;a part of the family&#39;s natural ecosystem. Not only did Harry attend&nbsp;the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/the-most-iconic-met-gala-looks-from-1948-to-2019" target="_blank">Met Gala</a> for the first time at the age of 16, but beginning in his teen years, the young style wiz began creating a name for himself as a burgeoning tastemaker for <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/harry-styles-gender-fluid-fashion-stylist" target="_blank">gender-fluid</a> fashion.&nbsp;

As such, Harry tried to make a career in the industry, though with a few false starts,&nbsp;including starting a makeup line with his brother, modeling, and writing as a teenage correspondent for&nbsp;Interview Magazine.

He attended Bard College, but did not graduate. The socialite was also <a href="https://www.wmagazine.com/story/billionaire-scion-harry-brant-instagrams-about-his-arrest/" target="_blank">arrested</a> in 2016 for failing to pay a $27.85 cab fare to his house in Greenwich, Connecticut. According to his parents, prior to his death, Harry was set to return to rehab.

&ldquo;Harry was not just our son,&rdquo; reads his family&#39;s&nbsp;statement. &ldquo;He was also a wonderful brother, loving grandson, favorite uncle and a caring friend. He was a creative, loving and powerful soul that brought light into so many people&rsquo;s hearts. He was truly a beautiful person inside and out.&rdquo;
