From Amanda Bynes to the Olsen Twins to Hillary Duff, the early 2000s produced some of the most recognizable child stars. Although the early introduction to fame certainly took a toll on these actresses, they were undeniably some of the most influential pop culture forces of their time.

With her superb acting skills, charming smile, and flaming locks of red hair, Lindsay Lohan made a name for herself in Hollywood at a young age. She started working as a Ford model at just three years old and skyrocketed to fame at 12 when she starred as estranged twins Hallie and Annie in the endearing family comedy The Parent Trap. From there, she went on to star in a myriad of Disney Channel movies, including Freaky Friday which won her an MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Female in 2004. Later that year, she took on one of her most memorable roles as Cady Heron in Mean Girls, alongside Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. Although she has taken several hiatuses from acting, she still continues her work today and has a role in an upcoming Netflix holiday rom-com, Falling for Christmas.

As Lohan celebrates her 37th birthday, look back at some of the most iconic movie outfits she has worn throughout her stellar acting career.

Even at the age of 11, Lohan gives us serious outfit envy. As the prim and proper London-based twin Annie from "The Parent Trap," she looks darling in this brown checked skirtsuit, complete with a matching headband.
Lohan serves Pinterest girl chic before Pinterest even existed in the Disney movie "Get A Clue." This vibrant warm-toned top, paired with coordinating red and white pants, a fuzzy pink cropped jacket, and tinted sunglasses would look as stylish today as it did in 2002.
As Anna in "Freaky Friday" opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, Lohan looks every bit the angsty teen in this ensemble. The choker, chunky highlights, studded belt, low-rise jeans, and graphic tee are pop punk style essentials.
After her life-changing transformation in "Freaky Friday," Lohan's character embraces her sweet side in this lacy periwinkle dress as she shares a dance with Chad Michael Murray.
Lola from "Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen" has some of the best on-screen style, with an attitude to match. Everything about this look screams peak Y2K, from the trucker hat and graphic tee to the low-rise cargos and crossbody book bag.
Lohan glows in this '60s-inspired look, also from "Confessions of A Teenage Drama Queen." Her soft, layered hair cut is also on point.
In probably her most memorable role since "The Parent Trap," Lohan's 2004 movie "Mean Girls" was a cultural revelation, even sparking a Broadway show. Despite her sour disposition, Lohan looks sweet as Cady Heron in this cotton candy-colored miniskirt and henley.
As Cady's metamorphosis into a mean girl herself starts to take full force, she begins to look the part. Here, she wears a pink and black satin mini dress and choker for her party host outfit.
As the willful owner of an equally headstrong VW Beetle, Lohan rocks this striped racing suit in "Herbie: Fully Loaded." Her auburn locks match her character's fiery personality.
