2023 has officially been declared the year of Yeoh, as the actress has made continuous headlines for accolades starring in Everything Everywhere At All Once &mdash; most notably making history as the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/michelle-yeoh-best-actress-2023-academy-awards-oscars" target="_blank" rel="noopener">first Asian woman and the second woman of color to win Best Actress</a> at the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/academy-awards-2023-oscars-red-carpet-celebrity-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2023 Academy Awards</a>. It's not just her acting that establishes her stardom, but her impeccable sense of style. Though the beloved actress is a Hollywood staple, this marks Yeoh's second appearance on the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/karl-lagerfeld-met-gala-best-looks-fashion-chanel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Met Gala red carpet</a>. The elegant ensemble became even more show-stopping once it was revealed that the dress was upcycled.&nbsp;
This year, Yeoh stunned in a black-and-white gown with voluminous long sleeves. A nod to Lagerfeld&rsquo;s signature suiting, the dress feminizes classical menswear details with a white collar and buttons.
