The Japanese fashion brand teams up with the upcoming Camila Cabello-fronted Amazon Prime Video adaptation of the fairy tale for a limited-edition sneaker.

Japanese label <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/onitsuka-tiger-store-beverly-hills" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Onitsuka Tiger</a> teams up with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/making-the-cut-amazon-prime-video-fashion-show-returns-summer-new-judges" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Amazon Prime Video</a> to release a limited-edition sneaker based on the streaming service's live-action movie <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/everything-to-know-cinderella-2021-camila-cabello" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cinderella</a>.&nbsp;Starring <a href="https://www.instagram.com/camila_cabello/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Camila Cabello</a>, the film reinterprets the fairy tale of Cinderella in a wholly modern and diverse perspective. Also featuring <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/billy-porter-stuns-in-every-color-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Billy Porter</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/idinamenzel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Idina Menzel</a>, Cinderella follows Cabello as she navigates her ambitious dreams with the help of supportive counterparts. The movie will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on September 3.

Onitsuka Tiger meets Cinderella

Building off of the movie's focus on inclusion, the limited-edition <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sneakers-for-women-fashion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sneaker</a> reimagines the fabled glass slipper for the modern woman. Using its P-Trainer Przm silhouette, the shoe boasts prismatic colors made complete by top-notch fabrication. Reminiscent of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/how-brandy-revolutionized-cinderella-1997" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cinderella's glass slipper</a>, the sneaker creates a mirror-like effect that modernizes the original shape seen in the movie.&nbsp;
Another focal point of the sneaker is its platform sole that connects to the silver base of the shoe. Decorated with the brand's Onitsuka Tiger Stripe, the sole is meant to absorb shock and promote mobility. The sneaker also features the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/princess-diana-kate-middleton-tiara-moments-royal-family" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tiara</a> motif from Cinderella on the heel top and the movie title etched on the shoe tongue label and insole.
