Tommy Hilfiger and Patta have dropped the second installment of their capsule collection inspired by '90s hip-hop.

Prep and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/streetwear-from-around-the-world-2022-street-style-brands" target="_blank" rel="noopener">streetwear</a> may seem like opposite ends of the style spectrum, but <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-richard-quinn-collaboration-capsule-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a> has long since figured out how to make it work. In the '90s, the namesake label made fashion headlines as one of the very few esteemed brands willing to take a dive into <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/hip-hop-most-iconic-shoes-adidas-nike-airjordan-clarks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hip-hop</a> culture. Reviving that '90s spirit, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/every-look-tommy-hilfiger-fall-winter-2022-collection-tommy-now-nyfw-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a> has partnered with Amsterdam-based streetwear brand Patta for a collaborative capsule collection.

The capsule collection consists of 18 gender-inclusive styles that encapsulate modern streetwear. The collaboration serves as a seamless merge between <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/anthony-ramos-tommy-hilfiger-sustainable-met-gala-look-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a>'s preppy aesthetic and Patta's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/historic-super-bowl-half-time-show-snoop-dogg-eninem-mary-j-blige-dr-dre-kendrick-lamar" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hip-hop</a> DNA. The styles exhibit characteristics of '90s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dapper-dan-digital-issue-2019" target="_blank" rel="noopener">streetwear influence</a> with reinterpreted classic staples. Preppy styles have been reworked into relaxed silhouettes such as graphic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/varsity-jackets-fashion-trend-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">varsity jackets</a> and hooded sweaters. Each item showcases the combined <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/inside-tommy-hilfiger-and-zendaya-spring-2019-collaboration" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a> and Patta logos, along with blending <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/tommy-hilfiger-romeo-hunte-collection-tommyxromeo-fall" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tommy Hilfiger</a>'s brighter colors with Patta's softer color palette.&nbsp;

For the Tommy x Patta campaign, NYC-native hip-hop artists Wiki and Mike were featured as representative figures of the hip-hop community. The duo showcased both pieces from the collection and their talents in a music video that complements their original track titled "One More," produced by renowned music producer The Alchemist. The visuals look straight out of a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/sadie-sink-the-whale-brendan-fraser-taylor-swift-all-too-well-video" target="_blank" rel="noopener">'90s</a> music video as the duo raps throughout the city donned in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/elevating-the-american-unifor-graphic-tee-s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">graphic tees</a>, baggy jeans, and oversized sweatshirts. As the birthplace of hip-hop, to have the video be shot in NYC celebrates hip-hop culture and recognizes the influence it has had on society and culture.
