Gela Nash-Taylor and Travis Nash are taking mother-son bonding to the next level as they embark on a new business endeavor together: a high-end weed and lifestyle brand. As the co-founder of iconic loungewear brand Juicy Couture, Nash-Taylor was already well-versed in mixing casual with classy before Potent Goods, which launches today. The Los Angeles-based brand will not only sell vaporizer pens and boutique pre-roll packs, but also comfy-chic clothes to smoke them in. "Southern California is the birthplace of Juicy Couture and casual luxury," Nash-Taylor tells L'OFFICIEL. "I couldn’t be more excited to be telling a new LA story, this time in partnership with my son, Travis Nash."

After popularizing the Y2K staple velour tracksuit with Juicy Couture, Nash-Taylor is making a return to her loungewear roots with Potent Goods. "I love high-low dressing, mixing a tracksuit with an over-the-top heel, dripping in chains maybe an oversize faux-fur coat," she says. "Tracksuits are in my DNA."

Each of the three cannabis strains sold by Potent Goods has a corresponding loungewear collection: uplifting Sativa blend Amplify is paired with an invigorating snake print; soothing Indica Offline gets an equally tranquil dark floral print; and balanced hybrid Muse is represented by a mesmerizing monogram print. The mini-collections all include drawstring lounge pants, a cross-body bag, and face mask, along with an outerwear piece with a discreet pen pocket. Amplify features an oversized nylon windbreaker, Offline has a lush floral kimono, and Muse comes in a monogrammed track jacket with a black and white chevron.

"Potent Goods’ loungewear is sensual and luxurious, designed specifically to enhance the smoking experience," the co-founder says. "Our vaporizers have a uniquely soft-touch texture, which feels quite chic on your fingertips, and a print that matches the clothing."

With liquid diamonds and HTE (high terpene extract), Potent Goods' vaporizer pens ($34) provide a sumptuous experience, while the pre-roll pack ($40) consists of seven .5g pre-rolls, perfect for enjoying with friends. "The Potent Goods high is subtle—we call it a tilt towards euphoria without plunging you into the deep end," Nash-Taylor explains. "This is how I like to experience cannabis."

The brand aims to reimagine how cannabis use is perceived.  By partnering with her son, Nash-Taylor hopes to smash stigmas and show that cannabis can "be used responsibly and enjoyed in the same way as, for example, premium tequila."

Potent Goods launches in partnership with California-based cannabis brand Amuse. Vaporizers and pre-rolls are available on Amuse's website, and you can shop the loungewear collection here
