While longtime fans of the brand and casual shoppers alike are likely aware of the label's iconic storefront at 140 Wooster Street, it's time for NYC shoppers to rejoice—Nanushka is packing up and moving to a brand-new location at 27 Mercer Street. A small-scale move it may be—the new boutique is less than a ten-minute walk from the previous one, and still located in Soho—but the Mercer location promises guests an unparalleled shopping experience, with a new ultra-chic interior space designed by Italian architect Matteo Corbellini of Villa Clea.

Pared-back and minimalistic, but no less stunning, the neutral interior space offers visitors an opportunity to take a few moments of much-needed respite from the electrifying city streets outside the boutique's doors and fully immerse themselves in the breathtaking collections Nanushka has to offer.

"The black lacquered metal furniture designed by Allina for Lunaa embodies similar principles, offering adaptability and fluidity within the space. Raw metal components are assembled with visible welds that echo the stitching in fabric, creating a cohesive and dynamic design," said the new store's architect, Corbellini. "The fabrics are in constant motion, with their textures and forms continuously evolving to create an environment marked by irregular curves, folds, and ripples. The store celebrates the textiles people wear, with the space itself shaped by the fabric's natural irregularities."

The brand-new Nanushka storefront at 27 Mercer Street officially opens on September 10, 2024, just a few days after the label's first runway presentation at NYFW in over six years.

Offering its new Fall/Winter 2024 collections, bridal looks, and exclusive pieces, the NYC location of the ultra-chic label further cements its status as a unique addition to the local fashion community. Celebrating its ten-year anniversary and the brand-new storefront, RIXO has a series of exciting activations, monthly vintage pop-ups, and collaborative events with local boutiques lined up, so fans of the label can expect plenty of hype surrounding the brand as it grows.

Nili Lotan Men's Boutique

Located just across the street from the flagship Nili Lotan store at 188 Duane Street, down the block from the label's design studio, and a stone's throw from the designer's loft, the opening of the first Nili Lotan menswear-oriented boutique is a major step for the brand. While the womenswear collections for Nili Lotan represent the intersection between undeniable, ultra-chic style and sensibility, the new menswear line offers raw, authentic emotion and attitude through clothing meant for everyday wear.

Drawing on easy-going, classic '70s-style NYC rock 'n roll aesthetics—think Bob Dylan, who also inspired the label's new campaign, and the Rolling Stones—with a twist of sophistication, the menswear collections also act as an homage to Lotan's life partner, David Broza—a renowned singer-songwriter and lifelong music lover.

Curated with a specific mid-century aesthetic, the interior features chic brushed-steel garment racks, hand-selected antiques, and an invigorating espresso bar.

The brand-new space opens on September 5, 2024, when it will be available for guests to shop new menswear pieces, enjoy the stunning interior space, and wind down with the sounds of lax rock and roll.
