Young fashion designers, worry not—you still have time to apply for the 5th edition of the LVMH Prize, as the application period ends February 4. And there is new talent added to the judging panel.

This year, designers will be under the scrutiny of new specialists and final judges, including Sara Maino (Deputy Editor-In-Chief of Italian Vogue) and Burak Cakmak (Dean of Fashion at New York's Parsons School of Design) in the semi-finals; and Haider Ackermann of Berluti, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH, Sidney Toledano, and Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy in the final round. If you're strong enough to want your work evaluated by some of the absolute most important people in the fashion business, this would be your chance.

While the semi-finals are coming up on March 1st and 2nd, the finals aren't until June—that date is still to be announced. In a statement to the press, Delphine Arnaut reflected upon the evolving importance and influence of the prize, saying: "I wish to warmly thank the fashion professionals and specialists involved in the Prize for their loyalty and their support to young designers, as well as the members of the jury. Since it was launched in 2014 by LVMH, the Prize has truly nurtured young fashion designers from all over the world and it instantly met with tremendous success internationally. It has become a reference in the fashion business and from its inception, the Prize has seen over 5,000 applications and welcomed over 27 different nationalities and 110 designers to the semi-final. Furthermore, over 4 years, the Prize has distinguished 9 winners among the most talented of their generation. It is the responsibility of the LVMH group, as the leader of its industry, to honor and support tomorrow's talents and to help them assert themselves and grow."
