Stepping out Thursday night in matching burgundy outfits, Zendaya and Tom Holland proved, yet again, how tasteful coordinated couple outfits can be when styled well.
The couple was spotted leaving the Greenwich Hotel in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood on Thursday night, celebrating the launch of Holland's new non-alchoholic beer, Bero. Holland, who has been known to sport burgundy on the red carpet—most notably at the 2018 Academy Awards in Dolce & Gabbana—donned a top in the rich hue with black trousers, all by Prada. His laid-back look allowed Zendaya's custom Louis Vuitton dress by Nicolas Ghesquière dress to really shine. The leather dress (in a deeper shade of burgundy, vergingin on marron) featured a belted waist and a plunging neckline, adding more drama to the its sheen finish. Her stylist, Law Roach, who's been dressing her since 2011, knows how to turn a simple paparazzi flick into a runway moment.
Across recent runways from Gucci to Bottega Veneta, burgundy has been heavy on our minds as a key color trend of late. Clearly, it's been on the couple's minds, too. Though couples coordination outfits can risk coming off gauche, that's not something Zendaya and Holland need to worry about. After all, their Downtown look managed to be both timeless and trendy.
