Nearly five years have passed since <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/luca-guadagnino-queer-new-film-daniel-craig" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Daniel Craig</a>'s final cinematic stint as the legendary spy was released, and in the time since, to say the hunt for a new <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/new-james-bond-actor-rumors-predictions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Bond</a> has been on would be an understatement of the most dramatic degree. Every so often, names of beloved leading lads like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/aaron-taylor-johnson-saint-laurent-winter-2025-campaign-christopher-walken" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Aaron Taylor-Johnson</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/rege-jean-page-next-james-bond-007-movie-bridgerton" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Reg&eacute;-Jean Page</a>, and Idris Elba have cropped up as the next suspected successor, but as any pop culture fiend knows, a select has not yet been made.&nbsp;
Though Turner has yet to be officially confirmed as the next actor to portray Bond, the rumour mill is ablaze with speculations that he is indeed the frontrunner.&nbsp;
Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve&mdash;of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/dune-part-two-details-trailer-cast-timothee-chalamet-zendaya-florence-pugh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dune</a>, Blade Runner 2049, and Arrival&nbsp;fame&mdash;will reportedly direct the untitled project, and it is expected that casting will begin in 2026, after production for his current project,&nbsp;Dune: Part 3, is complete. The director is apparently on the hunt for an actor in his late 20s or 30s, originally from the British Isles.&nbsp;
Filming is expected to take place throughout 2027, so fans of the franchise: be on the lookout for further details on the highly anticipated movie.&nbsp;
