The 29-year-old singer and actor made a splash with his appearance as Michael Jackson in Lionsgate's latest teaser for Michael, the upcoming biopic about the King of Pop's life.&nbsp;

Jaafar Jackson is a rising singer, actor, and performer hailing from Los Angeles, California as the youngest sibling of eight children. He is no stranger to the performing arts, given that he's the son of legendary songwriter, singer, and producer Jermaine Jackson, and nephew to the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. In his youth, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/michael-jackson-movie-biopic-jaafar-jackson-colman-domingo-paris-jackson-family-reactions">Michael</a> actor had aspirations of being a professional golfer, but having been surrounded by entertainers, it was only natural that he follow in his family's footsteps.
Given the powerful musical influences that surrounded his childhood, it's no surprise that he developed an extraordinary taste for music, showcasing selections such as Nat King Cole and Marvin Gaye. Since he was 12, Jackson has been well-versed in piano and has gained a wealth of knowledge of music and artistry.&nbsp;

In 2015, he was featured in the Jackson family reality TV show The Jacksons: Next Generation, which lasted one season.&nbsp;
Aside from music and dance, Jackson has an affinity for drawing, traveling, and fashion. He enjoys the landscaping and great energy of countries such as Hong Kong and Austria, and dreams of traveling to Paris.&nbsp;
Last Thursday, Lionsgate released the teaser for&nbsp;Michael, which will be Jackson's feature film debut. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CoDAU2mp1_u/">On his Instagram</a>, he shared a black and white image of himself rehearsing, sharing that he was "humbled and honored" to bring his uncle's story to life.&nbsp;
As an artist, Jackson aspires to inspire others to be themselves through his music and storytelling, with pop and R&amp;B influences. His undeniable confidence is likely to influence people of diverse demographics as he takes his first steps towards stardom.&nbsp;
