The King of Pop returns with his groundbreaking music, revolutionary dance moves, and iconic white glove in the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, starring Jafaar Jackson.&nbsp;

Set to release in April 2026, Michael tells the intense yet extraordinary story of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/michael-jackson-style-influenced-fashion-today" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Michael Jackson</a>&rsquo;s journey with music and the life he lived behind all the fame. The story starts with Jackson at the lead of the Jackson Five and follows the artist as he becomes one of the biggest entertainers in the world. 
From the zombie-filled Thriller music video to the birth of the moonwalk, Michael is set to detail every aspect of the artist's most iconic performances and rise to fame.&nbsp;
Michael stars Jackson's nephew Jaafar Jackson and other actors like <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/colman-domingo-interview-the-running-man-euphoria" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Colman Domingo</a> as the singer's Joe Jackson, Nia Long as his mother Katherine Jackson, Larenz Tate as Motown Records founder Berry Gordy, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/miles-teller-iconic-roles-upcoming-movies-top-gun-maverick-the-offer">Miles Teller</a> as Jackson's attorney, Kat Graham as Diana Ross, and many other stars who portray the influential people in Jackson's life. The biopic teaser hints at what to expect in theaters, featuring young Jackson during his days in the Jackson Five, Jackson&rsquo;s preparation for his stadium shows, and even a clip of Jackson in the studio where audiences hear his speaking voice for the first time.

There&rsquo;s no confirmation on whether or not the biopic will address the controversies of Jackson&rsquo;s later life as a pop star, but there is an inside look at the creation of Jackson&rsquo;s music and his ambitious nature that led him to superstardom.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
&nbsp;Directed by Antoine Fuqua, written by John Logan, and produced by the maker of Bohemian Rhapsody, Graham King, Michael&nbsp;is already generating excitement among longtime fans. However, those close to the late singer, including his daughter, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/paris-jackson-boho-style-instagram" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Paris Jackson</a>, have expressed some uncertainty around the film.&nbsp;
&ldquo;I wasn&rsquo;t involved at all, aside from giving feedback on the first draft and then getting the feedback that [production] was not actually going to address your notes at all. So I just butted out and left it alone because it&rsquo;s not my project," she wrote on Instagram.&nbsp;
