'The Crown' is Searching for Its Kate Middleton
The final season of the popular series may include the storylines of more members of Britain's royal family.
Although the last season of the award-winning series The Crown was predicted to only focus on Queen Elizabeth II and her children, recent news has suggested otherwise. According to new reports, the series is looking for someone to play Kate Middleton.
The new season may in fact include the beginning of the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their college days. Late last year, Netflix announced that the show cast Senan West, the son of actor Dominic West who will portray Prince Charles, as Prince William
In addition to their search for Middleton, the producers are also on the hunt for actors between the ages of 16 and 21 to play Prince Harry in his youth.
The Crown's fifth season is set to air towards the end of this year and will continue to focus on the royal family's life during the '90s, including the death of Princess Diana.
It has also been reported that the sixth season will include the deaths of Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth I, the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles as well as Prince Harry's high-profile personal life.
