The final season of the popular series may include the storylines of more members of Britain's royal family.&nbsp;

Although the last season of the award-winning series <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-crown-season-5-netflix-prince-philip-countess-penelope-knatchbull-controversy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Crown</a>&nbsp;was predicted to only focus on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/queen-elizabeth-young-photos-wedding-coronation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Queen Elizabeth II</a> and her children, recent news has suggested otherwise. According to new reports, the series is looking for someone to play <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/kate-middleton-royal-jewels-wedding-anniversary" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kate Middleton.</a>

The new season may in fact include the beginning of the relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their college days. Late last year, Netflix announced that <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-crown-season-5-casts-dominic-west-son-as-prince-william-netflix" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the show cast Senan West</a>, the son of actor Dominic West who will portray <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/how-princess-diana-prince-charles-broke-royal-traditions-wedding-marriage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prince Charles</a>, as Prince William
In addition to their search for Middleton, the producers are also on the hunt for actors between the ages of 16 and 21 to play <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/young-prince-harry-real-father-last-name" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prince Harry</a> in his youth.&nbsp;

<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/everything-we-know-season-5-the-crown-netflix-princess-diana-elizabeth-debicki-emma-corrin-dominic-west-2022" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Crown's fifth season</a> is set to air towards the end of this year and will continue to focus on the royal family's life during the '90s, including the death of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/the-crown-season-5-princess-diana-elizabeth-debicki" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Princess Diana</a>.&nbsp;
It has also been reported that the sixth season will include the deaths of Princess Margaret and Queen Elizabeth I, the wedding of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/prince-charles-princess-diana-who-cheated-first-royal-marriage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Prince Charles</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/politics-culture/prince-charles-camilla-parker-bowels-royals-scandal-diana" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Camilla Parker Bowles</a> as well as Prince Harry's high-profile personal life.
