The latest episode of our favorite summer show chronicles Belly&rsquo;s time in the City of Light as her family at home adjusts to life without her.&nbsp;

The penultimate episode of everyone&rsquo;s favorite seasonal show, The Summer I Turned Pretty, premiered on Sept. 10 after a long week of anticipation.&nbsp;
In&nbsp;The Summer I Turned Pretty&nbsp;Season 3 Episode 9, it was revealed that Belly was staying in Paris full-time to live and study abroad. Meanwhile, back at home, everyone else dealt with the consequences and aftermath of Belly and Jeremiah&rsquo;s failed wedding.&nbsp;

The episode picks up around Thanksgiving with Belly living and working in Paris with roommates she hates, and best friends she loves. In the beginning, Belly discloses her feelings of homesickness and weakness. Despite working two jobs and attending online classes, Belly feels like she went to Paris to find herself only to end up feeling even more lost than before. And of course, she is missing her family and best friend, Taylor, more than ever.&nbsp;
As the holidays approach, Belly&rsquo;s family urges her to come home, but she feels the need to stay since she hasn&rsquo;t truly found what she is looking for yet. Instead of coming home for the holidays, Belly insists Taylor come to visit her for New Year&rsquo;s, which we see later on in the episode.&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 10 &mdash; Jeremiah's Journey at Home</h3>

Back on the East Coast, Jeremiah is spending his Thanksgiving kissing new people and avoiding the grief of his lost relationship. Jeremiah, Steven, Taylor, Redbird, Denise, and Adam all celebrate Thanksgiving together without Conrad. Despite all of Conrad&rsquo;s apologies and text messages, Jere is still ignoring his older brother.&nbsp;
Over dinner, we find out that Jeremiah turned down the full-time job at his father&rsquo;s company so he could finish his final semester of school. But he gets caught in his web of lies about school and work, ultimately leading to his father cutting him off from his unlimited funds.&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 10 &mdash; Conrad's Letters</h3>

In this episode, it is also revealed that Conrad has been consistently writing Belly letters as she lives her life in Paris. He wishes her the best and hopes she is getting everything she dreamed of in Paris.
His decision to contact Belly was influenced by Laurel during his phone call with her about Christmas plans and Belly&amp;rsquo;s whereabouts. Laurel urged Conrad to risk contact with Belly and find out how she is feeling for himself.&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 10 &mdash; A Very Chaotic Holiday Season</h3>

As the episode continues, we see how Belly spends her Christmas Eve with her special friend, Benito, in Paris, while back at home, Jeremiah struggles to confront Conrad at Christmas. Conrad questions Steven about everyone&rsquo;s feelings towards him, and Jeremiah apologizes to Laurel for his attitude, and it seems like the broken family is beginning to become whole again.&nbsp;
Adam finds out about Steven and Denise&rsquo;s new business, and Steven makes the risky decision to quit his full-time position.&nbsp;
Taylor visits Belly in Paris to celebrate New Year&rsquo;s, and the girls spend their time together shopping and eating croissants. Right before the New Year&rsquo;s celebration, Jeremiah calls Belly, and the two are able to finally let each other go. During the party, Belly receives a package from Conrad, and Taylor questions her about the &ldquo;love letters&rdquo; he&rsquo;s been writing to her.&nbsp;
After Taylor pushes her to move on, Belly ends up kissing Benito at midnight, launching the beginning of the relationship.&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 10 &mdash; The Final Moments</h3>

Belly decides to live in Paris permanently on the anniversary of Susannah&rsquo;s death, while the boys finally have a heart-to-heart about the events of Jeremiah&rsquo;s wedding day. While the boys will never be as close as they were before, they are now civil with each other.&nbsp;
Towards the end of the episode, Belly finally responds to Conrad&rsquo;s many letters, thanking him for thinking of her. She sends him her new and permanent address, opening the line of communication to him.&nbsp;
Conrad is invited to Brussels for a work conference and contemplates visiting Belly in Paris, meanwhile Belly is getting ready for her birthday weekend as she embraces this new chapter of her life.&nbsp;

The next episode is the series finale, and it's likely we will finally see Jenny Han&rsquo;s vision for this complicated story. Based on the events of this episode, it&rsquo;s looking like Conrad will visit Belly in Paris and explain his feelings for her again. Jeremiah is on the verge of beginning a new chapter of his own, and Steven and Taylor are beginning to build a life together.&nbsp;
There are many loose ends to be tied up, such as Benito and Belly&rsquo;s relationship and whether or not Conrad and Belly will give their relationship another chance. But there is hope that the show&rsquo;s plot will eventually follow the book&rsquo;s ending.&nbsp;
