Nicholas Galitzine Announced as Fendi's First Global Menswear Ambassdaor
The "Red, White, & Royal Blue" actor is the face of Fendi's first-ever worldwide Men's campaign.
From starring in the record-breaking Netflix film Purple Hearts to his leading roles in the highly anticipated films The Idea of You (co-starring Anne Hathaway) and Red, White, & Royal Blue, Nicholas Galitzine adds a new position to his roster. The actor has been announced as Fendi's first global menswear ambassador, where he fronts the house's first men's worldwide advertising campaign for the Fall/Winter 2023 season.
The ambassadorship comes after Galitzine became an official friend of the luxury label last year, where he attended Fendi's Baguette 25th Anniversary show in New York in September 2022 and the Men’s Fall/Winter 2023 show in Milan in January 2023.
For the campaign, Galitzine works under the creative vision and direction of Italian artist Nico Vascellari, as the actor sports signature looks from Fendi's Men's Fall/Winter 2023 collection (designed by Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi). Evoking everyday elegance in a cool and sexy manner, key pieces include illuminating engineered leathers, languid knits that move with effortless fluidity, cozy blanket coats closed with the O'Lock, and deconstructed shirting that walk the lines between function and facade.
Fendi's renowned accessories are also spotlighted, including the Peekaboo and Baguette Soft Trunk, a new leather hobo satchel, and glossy boots with the F logo heel.
This marks Galitzine's first ambassadorship for a luxury fashion house on the heels of an already booked and busy year. Aside from Red, White, & Royal Blue and The Idea of You, Galitzine will co-lead alongside Julianne Moore in the upcoming series Mary & George and has taken on a supporting role in the coming comedy Bottoms, starring Kaia Gerber, Ayo Edebiri, and Rachel Sennott.
While Fendi is the first fashion house to pick him up, as Galitzine continues to make a bigger name for himself in the industry, we are sure to other luxury brands follow suit.
