Seven Grammy wins since her debut album, Billie Eilish has finally announced that her sophomore record Happier Than Ever will launch on July 30 of this year. While the 19-year-old singer has been teasing her new project for months, including surprising fans with a new blonde shag cut to symbolize her next era, fans can rest easy knowing that the artist's new music is not too far away.

On Instagram, she posted a teary cover photo for the project with the name of the album written in simple white lettering.  The singer wrote in the caption, "This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel."

While listeners will have to wait until later this summer to hear the whole album, Eilish also revealed that her first single will be available this week. She added, "alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am pt too!!"

Her last album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, earned three Grammy awards in 2020, while Eilish nabbed three others that night for Best New Artist, as well as Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her track "Bad Guy." Earlier this year, she received two more Grammys, including Record of the Year for her song "Everything I Wanted."
