Jake Gyllenhaal speaks for the first time about the song "All Too Well," which Taylor Swift allegedly made to talk about their controversial relationship

Three months after facing the wrath of the Swifties, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/jake-gyllenhaal-age-young-photos-movies-donnie-darko" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jake Gyllenhaal</a> has just shared&mdash;for the first time&mdash;his thoughts on <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-easter-eggs-albums-red-speak-now-new-music" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift</a>'s "All Too Well," in which the singer allegedly shares her side of the pair's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/complete-jake-gyllenhaal-dating-history-taylor-swift-kirsten-dunst" target="_blank" rel="noopener">turbulent dating history</a>, between October and December 2010. Following the release of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-releases-red-taylors-version-album-10-minute-all-too-well" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Red (Taylor's Version)</a> in November 2021, the subject of the troubled relationship came back to the fore with an extended version and a short film illustrating some of the moments inspired by <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/taylor-swift-fall-style-guid-red-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swift</a>'s actual relationship with Gyllenhaal.

Until now, the actor has never spoken on the subject, however, in a recent interview, Gyllenhaal finally decided to comment on the situation. "It has nothing to do with me. It&rsquo;s about her relationship with her fans. It is her expression. "At some point, I think it&rsquo;s important when supporters get unruly that we feel a responsibility to have them be civil and not allow for cyberbullying in one&rsquo;s name," said the actor.
