Starting today, Grateful Tuesday raises funds to benefit teachers, principals, and others working for fair and equitable education.

At a time when access to education has never been more challenging, <a href="https://www.studentleadershipnetwork.org/" target="_blank">Student Leadership Network</a> is bringing a new spin to Giving Tuesday&mdash;the activist-named Tuesday following <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop%20culture/celebrity-thanksgiving-day-holiday-history">Thanksgiving</a>&mdash;with its newest program: Grateful Tuesday.

Launching today, the global program follows the New York nonprofit&#39;s mission to&nbsp;foster educational opportunities to underserved communities in the US. But this&nbsp;time there&#39;s a twist, now SLN is&nbsp;helping&nbsp;those who have spent their lives helping others: teachers, counselors, and education professionals.&nbsp;

Rooted online, the campaign empowers individuals to think of the essential people in their lives and make a donation to SLN in their honor. After, participants are invited to share memories of their loved ones on social media to celebrate their meaningful connections through the hashtag #GratefulTuesday.

Weeks away from the coming winter holidays, never has a gift been so powerful for both&nbsp;giver and recipient.&nbsp;
