Starting today, Grateful Tuesday raises funds to benefit teachers, principals, and others working for fair and equitable education.

At a time when access to education has never been more challenging, Student Leadership Network is bringing a new spin to Giving Tuesday—the activist-named Tuesday following Thanksgiving—with its newest program: Grateful Tuesday.

Launching today, the global program follows the New York nonprofit's mission to foster educational opportunities to underserved communities in the US. But this time there's a twist, now SLN is helping those who have spent their lives helping others: teachers, counselors, and education professionals.

Rooted online, the campaign empowers individuals to think of the essential people in their lives and make a donation to SLN in their honor. After, participants are invited to share memories of their loved ones on social media to celebrate their meaningful connections through the hashtag #GratefulTuesday.

Weeks away from the coming winter holidays, never has a gift been so powerful for both giver and recipient.

Make a donation to SLN's Grateful Tuesday campaign now.
