From Nickelodeon to Now: Amanda Bynes Through the Years
L'OFFICIEL looks back on some of the actress' most memorable moments throughout her career, and where she is now.
Beginning her career starring on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That at only nine years old, Amanda Bynes grew up on the screen alongside all who watched her. From her early Nickelodeon career, Bynes progressed to feature films among some of the biggest stars through the 2000s, making hit movies and a name for herself in Hollywood.
To many, the name Amanda Bynes is associated with a starlet in early aughts blockbusters like She's The Man, Hairspray, and Easy A, to name a few. But her name also brings up other connotations, including a public mental breakdown, various Twitter feuds, and an ongoing struggle with drugs that landed the young actress in jail, rehab, and a psychiatric facility on different occasions. In recent years, Bynes hasn't gotten publicity for her talented acting roles, but more for her descent down a path too familiar to child stars.
Her love life also had some conflicts over the years. Bynes seemed to have an on-again off-again relationship with ex-fiancé Paul Michael. The couple is no longer together, and Bynes has kept a relatively low profile ever since announcing their engagement back in February 2020. Now, she's seen posting periodic life updates for her 400K Instagram followers, one of which includes going back to school to become a manicurist, and is ocasionally spotted in public running errands.
After the end of her sucessful acting career as a teenager followed by stepping away from the public eye, L'OFFICIEL looks back on some of the actress' most memorable moments.
