Regé-Jean Page is considered the most handsome man in the world, according to science. At the age of 35, the actor who became famous for the Netflix series Bridgerton tops the list of Hollywood actors, athletes, and other public figures analyzed for their looks using the Golden Ratio. The study showed that the former L'OFFICIEL Hommes cover star has a face that is 93.65 percent perfect according to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi which measures physical perfection, thus making him the most handsome man in the world.

In the same survey, led by London-based plastic surgeon and TV commentator Dr. Julian De Silva, and released by the British newspaper Metro, actors Chris Hemsworth, with 93.53 percent, Michael B. Jordan with 93.46 percent, and singer Harry Styles with 92.30 percent also made the list.

Page only recently broke into the zeitgeist, despide his earlier roles in "Roots" and "For the People" a 2018 Shondaland show. Before he was named the most handsome man in the world, the 2020 title went to none other than actor Robert Pattinson.

But how did Da Silva arrive at the result of perfect faces, and why did the most handsome man in the world title shift from Pattinson to Page? The plastic surgeon and researche used recent computerized mapping techniques and revealed that the highly technical methods allow for solving some of the mysteries of what makes someone physically beautiful based on the initial Greek idea. These tools are useful forr planning patients' plastic surgery, in order to get a natural look.

The Golden Ratio, often referred to as the "divine proportion" or phi (φ), is a mathematical ratio that has fascinated scholars, artists, and scientists for centuries. It is expressed as approximately 1.618 and is believed to represent a visually pleasing proportion found in nature, architecture, art, and even human anatomy, thus being the perfecet basis to determine the most handsome man in the world.

The Golden Ratio is derived from the Fibonacci sequence, a series of numbers in which each number is the sum of the two preceding ones. As the sequence progresses, the ratio of consecutive numbers converges toward the Golden Ratio.

In aesthetics, the Golden Ratio is often associated with harmony, balance, and beauty. It has been theorized that objects and compositions that adhere to this ratio are perceived as more aesthetically pleasing. This concept has been utilized by artists, architects, and designers throughout history, from ancient civilizations to the Renaissance and beyond, to create visually appealing works of art and architecture.

In the realm of facial aesthetics, some researchers and cosmetic surgeons have applied the Golden Ratio to analyze and quantify facial proportions. By measuring the size and positioning of facial features such as the eyes, nose, lips, and chin, they seek to identify individuals who exhibit proportions that align closely with the Golden Ratio.

While the Golden Ratio theory has garnered interest and attention, it is important to note that beauty is subjective and multifaceted. Each is in the eye of the behonder, as they say, and we all know what makes someone beautiful comes from the inside, out.
