As it turns out, two of the most celebrated musicians of the era have enjoyed a close friendship for over 10 years.

The revered Fleetwood Mac <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/stevie-nicks-tiktok-fleetwood-mac-dreams-challenge-viral" target="_blank" rel="noopener">singer</a> and pop culture icon subtly referenced Swift's new album,&nbsp;The Tortured Poets Department, during a May 27 performance at the 2024 BottleRock Napa Valley festival.
Sporting her signature curly blonde locks and straight-across <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/beauty/dakota-johnson-bangs-mark-townsend-hair-stylist" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bangs</a>, Nicks sang fan-favorite tracks like "Rhiannon," "Leather and Lace," "Edge of Seventeen," and "Landslide," as the sun set on the first day of the festival.&nbsp;
Following the former Fleetwood Mac singer's enchanting performance, photos and videos circulated online, and in true Swiftie fashion, it took all of several minutes for fans of Swift to zero in on the <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/shopping/anklets-for-women" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gold</a> bracelet stack on the "Silver Springs" singer's left arm and pick out the "TTPD" logo emblazoned on one of them.&nbsp;

Swifties identified the bracelet as the same one currently available as part of the&nbsp;<a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/matty-healy-taylor-swift-album-diss-track" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tortured Poets Department</a> merch collection. Although it retails for $40, fans have speculated that the pop star likely personally gifted it to Nicks, as the two have been friends since they met over 10 years ago.
The "Dreams" singer&mdash;who is referenced in the TTPD song "<a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/clara-bow-actress-original-it-girl-taylor-swift-song" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Clara Bow</a>" with the lyrics "You look like Stevie Nicks in &lsquo;75, the hair and lips. Crowd goes wild at her fingertips, half moonshine, a full eclipse&rdquo;&mdash;also penned a poem that appears on the inside cover of physical copies of The Tortured Poets Department, which is dedicated "For T and me..."&nbsp;

Following their joint performance at the Grammy Awards in 2010, Nicks had nothing but high praise for Swift and told&nbsp;<a href="https://content.time.com/time/specials/packages/printout/0,29239,1984685_1984940_1985536,00.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Time Magazine</a> that she &ldquo;writes the songs that make the whole world sing, like Neil Diamond or Elton John." Some time later, Nicks gifted Swift a crescent moon necklace, per the <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/stevie-nicks_n_6200716" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huff Post</a>, signaling the intensity of their bond as female artists. 
While the extent of their friendship is largely private, the complimentary quotes from Nicks, exchanging of jewelry, and collaborative projects have led fans to believe that Nicks acts as a friend and mentor to the "Tortured Poets Department" singer. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m looking for the great people, the legends,&rdquo; Nicks told the <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/stevie-nicks_n_6200716" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Huff&nbsp;Post</a> of her friendships with artists like <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/music/taylor-swift-new-eras-tour-setlist-new-album" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Swift</a>. &ldquo;These, I think, are legendary women. I want to do what I can do to help them stay on track.&rdquo;&nbsp;
