<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/zendaya-wardrobe-malfunction-bulgari-valentino-suit-fashion-emergency" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a> and her team have made it clear: she was not denied entry from a restaurant due to her wardrobe. The false accusation in question stems from an alleged report <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12187107/Zendaya-embarrassing-moment-shes-rejected-entry-upscale-restaurant-Rome.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">from the Daily Mail</a>, which reported the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/dune-part-two-details-trailer-cast-timothee-chalamet-zendaya-florence-pugh" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dune</a> star was "refused entry to a swanky restaurant due to its strict dress code."
Since then, Zendaya's team immediately addressed the rumors, calling them "completely false," <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/06/12/zendayas-rep-blasts-false-report-she-was-turned-away-from-restaurant/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">per Page Six</a>.&nbsp;

Zendaya's assistant <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/zendaya-and-timothee-chalamet-bust-a-move-at-birthday-bash" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Darnell Appling</a> took to his Instagram story also clapping back at the false report, stating, "Well this a bald head lie. We never got denied entry anywhere. We walked into the building [and] realized we were there before when we saw the stairs...The same stairs <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/zendaya-tom-holland-dating-adopting-dog-together-pitbull-pistachio" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a> slipped on last year and posted about."
He continued, "We all wanted to try a new restaurant and went somewhere else to do so. We actually never went upstairs and interacted with anyone. We talked amongst ourselves in the downstairs lobby. This whole story is a lie. But y'all be blessed tho."
<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/zendaya-louis-vuitton-ambassador-capucines-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Zendaya</a> also chimes in, though in a typical Z fashion, she addressed it in a shadier manner. On her Instagram story, the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/everything-we-know-euphoria-season-3-zendaya-plot-trailer-spoilers-cast-release-date" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Euphoria</a> star posts a meme of a cartoon asking "Source?" with the response "I made it up."

The actress was enjoying a weekend in Rome for the opening of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/zendaya-wardrobe-malfunction-bulgari-valentino-suit-fashion-emergency" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bulgari&rsquo;s</a> new luxury hotel, Bulgari Hotel Roma. As expected, she did not disappoint in her off-duty street-style looks. Two particularly standout looks were a gray mini dress and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-white-socks-to-wear-with-loafers-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">loafers</a> combo, and a mid-riff baring tube top and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/cargo-pants-for-women-to-shop" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cargo pants</a> &mdash; the latter of which was alleged to be the (now-debunked) outfit that didn't follow the dress code.&nbsp;
If there's any one lesson to take away from this, it's Zendaya isn't afraid to set a record straight.
