Get Ready With Lily Chee for the Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2024 Show
The actress and model gives L'OFFICIEL an insider glimpse at the latest Tory Burch runway show.
Every fashion lover's favorite time of year has arrived: New York Fashion Week. And while the streets of Manhattan (and Brooklyn as an honorary mention) are always star-studded each fashion week season, the stars most certainly did not come to play this September. Among them is Lily Chee, a young actress, model, and star on the rise in the fashion world. This week, the starlet enjoyed New York Fashion Week sitting front row at the Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2024 show.
Ahead, Chee gave L'OFFICIEL a behind-the-scenes look as she prepared for the Tory Burch show, while also sharing her fashion week essentials and favorite looks from the collection.
L'OFFICIEL: What are your fashion week essentials?
Lily Chee: Fashion week essentials would include an open mind for starters... There is tons of experimentation. Portable charger, snacks, and lots of water!
L'O: What's a beauty product in your bag that you can't live without?
LC: Beauty product I can't live without is definitely an eyelash curler.
L'O: What's a fashion trend that you regret trying?
LC: No regrets! What comes around goes around, there is so much repurposing in trends and fashion. Everything has been a lesson in finding my personal style.
L'O: If your phone died in the middle of fashion week, what would you do?
LC: Probably just enjoy the moment! But if it was an emergency, I’d probably call my mom from someone’s phone. Funny enough I lost my phone one night, but everything ended up working out.
L'O: What were your favorite looks from the Tory Burch show?
LC: There were so many beautiful looks and pieces that stood out to me at the show, even the accessories- mainly the sunglasses- that looked super retro. The show being in the American Natural History Museum was the perfect place to present a collection that had very classic shapes. I loved the curved neck blazers that came out in the beginning of the presentation, and also loved the dresses towards the end that swirl. Each piece was fresh and playful with new silhouettes and shapes.
