The label's latest line is soft, sophisticated, and refreshingly sensual.&nbsp;

Just a week prior to the presentation of the collection, the label announced that <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/rachel-scott-is-in-at-proenza-schouler" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rachel Scott of Diotima had joined Proenza Schouler as creative director</a>, following the exit of the brand's founders, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, earlier this year.
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection was created by the label's design studio in collaboration with Scott. The new creative director will spearhead her own collection, which will debut in February 2026.
Underscored by a wide array of creased, frayed, and pleated textiles, the pieces within the line truly come alive. Organza, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/best-luxury-faux-fur-coats" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fur</a>, and leather intermingled on the runway in a series of sculptural, dynamic silhouettes that evoked the motion of day-to-day life in <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/spring-summer-parties-events-nyc-2025" target="_blank" rel="noopener">New York City</a>&mdash;softly seconding the notion of the label's movement into a new era.&nbsp;
Coated cotton&mdash;notably laser cut, rather than printed&mdash;returned from the Proenza Schouler archives, suitably reconceived in light of the label's new life under Scott.&nbsp;
Springing from ornate, textured jacquard and delicately printed chrysanthemum motifs, a current of organic, spirited life wove each and every piece together, placing them into the context of a larger world. Similarly, exposed, fraying threads and blurred <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/men/menswear-trends-fashion-inspiration-india-fendi-zegna" target="_blank" rel="noopener">patterns</a> emphasize the fluid act of evolution, which takes its place within the collection as a process of "soft undoing," as the show notes dubbed it.&nbsp;
Warm, fiery shades of orange mingle with mellow marigold yellows and serene seaglass-hued garments, resulting in a parade of pieces that radiates the precise kind of spontaneity that exists at the core of the collection.
"A cut, a twist, a release: these are all first gestures suspended between what endures and what evolves. Currents gather force and resist resolution. The story will be written over time," conclude the show notes. A prelude the collection may be, but if this is what Scott's Proenza Schouler will look like, consider us utterly enamored&mdash;and, of course, already counting down the days until February.&nbsp;
