Luxury brands are kicking off summer with an influx of playful, beachy capsule collections that celebrate the spirit of our time and fuel the pent-up wanderlust we've been feeling after a year and a half spent indoors. From Dior's Dioriviera collection which gives a summer refresh to timeless Dior hallmarks such as the Dior Oblique and Toile de Jouy, to Karl Lagerfeld and Kenneth Ize's vibrant Spring/Summer 2021 collection that blends European and West African styles, L'OFFICIEL has rounded up nine summer capsule collections you should be on the lookout for.

Jacquemus X MyTheresa

Jacquemus, a brand that epitomizes the essence of summer with its dreamy silhouettes and energetic color palettes, has released a 13-piece capsule collection in collaboration with MyTheresa full of must-have summer items. Designed with the needs of the modern woman in mind, the collection features pieces such as breathable pleated shorts, structured oversized blazers, slinky cocktail dresses, strappy sandals, and of course, the brand’s iconic Chiquito bag in a bright orange colorway. Shop the collection, in all its pink-and-orange-flecked glory, here.

Dries Van Noten's High Summer 2021 Collection for Mr. Porter

This psychedelic-inspired collection designed for Mr. Porter brings to life West Coast influences with palm tree-esque and botanical prints and other painterly tropical motifs. Bringing forth soft cotton-jersey tees, oversized double-breasted suit jackets, relaxed, knee-grazing silk shirts, and electric kaleidoscopic prints, the collection is a trippy yet soothing nod to a movie-like summer. Dioriviera by Dior

Hit the beach in style this summer with the Dioriviera capsule collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, which features colorful new iterations of the classic Dior Oblique and Toile de Jouy prints and pieces ranging from nautically-striped sailor tops to bucket hats. Full of eye-catching bright pink, chartreuse, and gray hues, the collection contains seasonal essentials such as swimwear, surfboards, and hammocks, the latter being made by Dior Maison. The French luxury house’s limited collection is available in-store and online at Dior.

Prada Outdoor Collection

Launched on June 4th, the first installment of the Prada Outdoor Collection includes ‘50s-inspired terry cloth apparel (and bucket hats!), raffia shoulder bags, and crocheted garments, complete with fun beach accessories such as frisbees, water bottles, and even a knitted hammock to boot. The collection is available to shop at dedicated pop-up locations across the country including Beverly Hills, Miami’s Design District, Manhattan’s Broadway, the Neiman Marcus in NorthPark in Dallas, and an upcoming Hawaii Ala Moana pop-up coming August 11th.

JW Anderson X Tom of Finland

With its penchant for pushing boundaries, JW Anderson has teamed up with the non-profit Tom of Finland for a second collaboration following last year’s three-piece capsule, which consisted of a tote bag, keyring, and visor. Tom of Finland is an archive that seeks to preserve and promote the masculinized homoerotic work of the late artist, Tom Laaksonen (whose pseudonym was Tom of Finland). The limited-edition collection features ready-to-wear essentials such as hoodies, striped button-down shirts, and tote bags all emblazoned with the same suggestive drawing by the artist, as well as accessories such as provocatively-shaped keyrings, all available for purchase here.

Amina Muaddi X Wolford

Jordanian and Romanian shoemaker Amina Muaddi and Austrian underwear company Wolford have come together to release an exclusive capsule collection of skintight pieces that celebrate modern femininity. The collection features pieces such as Swarovski crystal fishnet tights, latex socks, sheer hoisery in emerald and ruby red hues, form-fitting catsuits, and the like. Intended to flatter all body types and essentially feel like a second skin, the collection is sleek, simple, and yet full of timeless staples. Shop here.

Sacai X Jean Paul Gaultier

To commemorate the release of their joint Fall/Winter 2021 collection on July 7, Jean Paul Gaultier and Sacai unveiled an ephemeral eight-piece ready-to-wear capsule collection. The collection includes a matching legging and long-sleeve tee set that mimics the appearance of tattoo-covered skin, featuring tattoo designs by renowned Los Angeles tattoo artist Dr. Woo, as well as black and white t-shirts embossed with the words “enfants terribles,” an army green bomber jacket, and a vanilla and orange blossom-scented eau de toilette. Karl Lagerfeld X Kenneth Ize

Coming together to meld European and Nigerian design influences, Karl Lagerfeld and Kenneth Ize released a gender-neutral Spring/Summer 2021 ready-to-wear collection on July 7. The collection features tailored separates, knitted tops and pants, merino wool sweaters, and a range of both casual and sophisticated pieces that come in a black-and-white harlequin print, colorful striped patterns, and navy and canary yellow shades. Paying homage to Ize’s West African roots, the colors involved are a nod to the asa oke cloth, which is woven by the Yoruba people. Shop the collection on the Karl Lagerfeld site here.

Fendi Summer Vertigo

Although a Fendi capsule collection is always cause for celebration, this one, in particular, is special because it is the first time the revamped FF vertigo logo, made in collaboration with artist Sarah Coleman, is being presented to the world. In addition to the new logo, the collection showcases bright yellows and blues while fusing a playful '70s flair with '90s beach silhouettes. Included in the collection are string bikinis, one-piece suits, surf shorts, five-inch-seam swim briefs—basically everything you need to elevate your summer swimwear.

Burberry TB Summer Monogram

Designed to embody the spirit of exploration, Burberry's third TB Summer Monogram collection stars legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell in various summer styles including strappy bikinis, flowy jumpsuits, and matching co-ords plastered with contemporary cobalt, royal blue, and gray takes on the Burberry logo. As with last summer's collection, the video campaign (directed by visual artist Frederik Heyman) consisted of a surreal, digital CGI set, this time in which Campbell stood atop a suspended platform made up of seashells as she modeled the collection's garments. The lightweight collection features pieces such as silk-satin slip dresses, nylon trench coats, a mini beach tote, pointed-toe pumps, and more, and was released on July 14. Shop the collection here
