In an announcement that took the fashion world by storm, Giorgio Armani announced that it would return to New York City after 11 long years. The revered luxury label, which typically shows in Milan, will present its Spring/Summer 2025 collection with a runway show in another of the world's largest fashion capitals.&nbsp;
Unlike many of the other designers flocking to New York City in the fall, Giorgio Armani will not show during the season's New York Fashion Week, which takes place in September. On October 17, 2024&mdash;the date of the Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2025 runway presentation&mdash;the newly erected Giorgio Armani building will be unveiled. The expansion was reimagined to include a fresh, contemporary Giorgio Armani storefront, residential spaces, Armani/Ristorante, and Armani/Casa.&nbsp;
Of the decision to host the upcoming show in NYC and the opening of the new location, Giorgio Armani said that it is &ldquo;an important personal milestone because it crystallizes my vision of style in the city that was perhaps the first to truly embrace it.&rdquo; &nbsp;

For the next annual <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/chanel-metiers-d-art-manchester-collection-photos-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chanel M&eacute;tiers d'Art</a> runway show, the luxury label is touching down in Hangzhou, China. The collection is set to be presented on December 3, 2024. While the location of the runway show has yet to be revealed, fans can expect the venue to be equally as electrifying as the label's buzzy unveiling last year on Manchester's Thomas Street. The M&eacute;tiers d'Art collections aim to showcase the incredible savoir-faire of the label's artisans and often consist of intricately artistic garments, fantastical tweed creations, and detailed embroidered styles. Given that the previous M&eacute;tiers d'Art runway show was attended by high-profile friends of the house like Sofia Coppola, Kristen Stewart, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/hugh-grant-young-photos-movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hugh Grant</a>, many fans expect that the upcoming show will be equally as star-studded.
Chanel has had an enduring connection with China, and over the years, has hosted numerous shows in locations ranging from <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/loewe-shanghai-art-exhibition-crafted-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shanghai</a> to Shenzhen.&nbsp;
Hangzhou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its historic temples, tranquil gardens, and its iconic West Lake. The scenic city is also home to several of the world's biggest silk production sites.&nbsp;
"It&rsquo;s an exceptional destination in China and it&rsquo;s very inspiring for the M&eacute;tiers d&rsquo;Art collection," said Chanel SAS president Bruno Pavlovsky in an interview with <a href="https://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashion-scoops/chanel-fashion-show-hangzhou-china-1236476747/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">WWD</a>. &nbsp;We&rsquo;ve had the opportunity to visit Hangzhou several times and we felt it had the same mysterious atmosphere. It has all the ingredients to make for something exceptional, unique, that has never been done before.&rdquo;
In the past, Chanel has visited cities like Dallas, Edinburgh, Salzburg, Rome, and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/best-cocktail-bars-in-tokyo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tokyo</a> for the exhibition of Chanel M&eacute;tiers d'Art collections, so the choice of Hangzhou as the next stunning location comes as no surprise to longtime devotees of the Maison. The last time Chanel presented its M&eacute;tiers d'Art collection in China was 2009, when Karl Lagerfeld led the creative effort behind the memorable line.

Ami has announced its plans to return to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/shanghai-china-fashion-week-photos-looks-designers" target="_blank" rel="noopener">China</a> this season with a repeat show in Suzhou on April 10. The show, which will be set against the backdrop of the historic Xiangmen Wall, will feature the <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fall-winter-2024-fashion-trends-runway" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fall/Winter 2024</a> collection.&nbsp;
Designated as a UNESCO Creative City and known as a metropolis with a rich cultural history, Suzhou lies just 100 miles west of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/loewe-shanghai-art-exhibition-crafted-world" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Shanghai</a>&mdash;also an increasingly popular fashion destination&mdash;and is home to the Classical Gardens as well as the historic Pingjiang Road.&nbsp;

As a label with a large Chinese consumer base, the brand aims to deepen its connection with the region through this upcoming repeat show.&nbsp;

Following the brand's eye-catching holiday light display at Saks Fifth Avenue, <a href="https://preview.lofficielusa.com/fashion/dior-pre-fall-2024-runway-show-brooklyn-museum-april-2024-nyc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a> is keeping its claim on New York this year as they plan to host their Pre-Fall 2024 show on April 15 at the Brooklyn Museum.&nbsp;
The collection is a celebration of the French fashion house's ties to America, especially New York City.

Reemphasizing the theme of travel at the luxury fashion house, Louis Vuitton will be jetting off to Asia on April 18 to showcase its <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-pre-fall-2024-show-shanghai-china" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pre-Fall 2024 collection.</a>&nbsp;
Hosted in the city of Shanghai, LV hopes to honor the brand's long-lasting relationship with China after more than 30 years since the first storefront opened in Beijing in 1992.&nbsp;
The founder of the brand, Louis Vuitton first made a name for himself back in the 19th century with <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/louis-vuitton-monogram-luggage-history" target="_blank" rel="noopener">his original luggage collection</a> of trunks and travel boxes.&nbsp;

Last year, they hosted <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/inside-max-mara-s-new-exhibition-in-seoul" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in Seoul</a> to honor their ties to <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/art/south-korean-photographer-cho-gi-seok-coexistence-exhibition-fotografiska-nyc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">South Korean</a> style, and this year they're taking it back a few centuries.&nbsp;

This destination event will take place on May 23 with the latest innovations from Artistic Director of Women's Collections <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/louis-vuitton-fall-winter-2024-pfw-show">Nicolas Ghesqui&egrave;re</a> focusing on the "Art of Travel." Though the venue is yet to be announced, the show will set the stage for the House's 37th America's Cup, an international sailing competition, and a series of future collaborations.
