Adriana Lima Announces She's Pregnant With Third Child in TikTok Debut
The Victoria's Secret star joined TikTok to announce that she's expecting her third child at 40.
Congrats, Adriana Lima! On Friday, the model announced that she is expecting her third child (and first with her current boyfriend, film producer Andre Lemmers). The sweet announcement came via the 40-year-old's TikTok debut. The L'OFFICIEL Spring 2022 digital cover star shared a short video, cut with Jackie Wilson's (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher & Higher," that featured different clips of Lemmers scaring her before she switched the roles and surprised him with the announcement of their baby, coming Fall 2022.
The supermodel shares two children, Valentina and Sienna, with ex-husband, Marko Jarić.
The announcement comes as Lima celebrates 25 years working in the fashion industry. Although she retired from Victoria's Secret in 2018, the supermodel is still active in many ways behind the camera, with the main focus on raising her two daughters.
Lima recently told L'OFFICIEL that she is raising her children with the encouragement of embracing their own identities, whatever they may be, something she notes was not entirely possible during her early years working in the industry. Although still young, her children have expressed interest in following in their mother's line of work, something Lima says she will support when, or if, the time comes for them.
"One of my daughters actually wants to be a model. She saw runway images of me, but I never asked her or talked much about it. She came to me and told me straight in my face, 'I want to be a model.' And like, okay, if that’s what you want, I’ll support you. I think in a few years, once she is ready, you guys will see her."
