For its latest menswear collection, the designer traced its roots back to the '70s and refreshed design philosophies of the past to fit contemporary ideals of style.&nbsp;

For the Giorgio Armani Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection, the label pursued a laid-back, easy, but impossibly sophisticated mode of dressing. This ambitious vision came alive in the series of oversized, but never slouchy pleated trousers, collarless blazers and suit jackets, and contrasting <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/black-and-white-patterned-bikinis-summer-trend-sydney-sweeney-swimsuit" target="_blank" rel="noopener">patterns</a> that were presented as part of the collection.&nbsp;
Through <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/vests-for-women-are-the-hottest-summer-2024-style-trend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vests</a>, jackets, and button-downs with deep v-neck cuts, models instantly appeared at ease, conveying the relaxed, but alluring sense of style that the Giorgio Armani man has come to embody. This same sultry visual theme was further emphasized by the timeless elegance of pinstriped suits and buttery soft, barely-buttoned cardigans.&nbsp;
A throughline of retro-inspired visual energy ran throughout the collection, calling back to the subtle glamor of the '<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/70s-fashion-designers-emilio-pucci-diane-von-furstenberg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">70s</a> through scarcely-there suspenders, oversized suits, and silk scarf detailing. While these designs present as certifiably authentic in their archival inspirations&mdash;after all, the luxury label came to fruition in the mid '70s&mdash;the Giorgio Armani Men's Spring/Summer 2025 collection doesn't just borrow elements from designs of the past, it builds on them to present a refreshed vision of the ideal menswear line.&nbsp;
While much of the line relies on a fairly <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/thom-browne-fall-winter-2024-haute-couture-runway-show-review-images" target="_blank" rel="noopener">simple color palette</a>, several looks venture beyond the ordinary and explore the realm of abstract prints. From exotic, worldly palm tree print to wavy geometric patterns to tried-and-true stripes, the expansive collection&mdash;which presented over 90 new designs&mdash;explores a whole multitude of styles and attitudes within just one line. Muted, but still faintly shimmery metallics offer a playful, vintage-inspired touch to tailored suit looks, reflecting silver and pale gold hues right back at guests seated in the front row. Coupled with coordinating-colored tops underneath blazers, these gleaming looks offered that hint of quintessential '70s glam through a visual energy that offered elements of both modern style, as seen in the precisely tailored construction and choice of fabric, as well as instantly nostalgic, evident in the silhouette.&nbsp;
