As if the photo's 23 million likes weren't enough, her new cut also became Gen Z's new favorite trend and is blowing up on TikTok.
Known as "Wolf Cut," this look is bold, stripped, and marked by layers. The trend is strongly influenced by the mullet and shag, two decades-old styles that are resurfacing now on celebrities. Some even believe that Eilish is serving a modernized reinterpretation of these looks.
The trend has already gone viral on TikTok. Between videos showing the result of the singer's transformation and others that showing the cut being done at home, the hashtag #wolfcut has 333.7M views on the network, while #wolfcutmullet and #shagmullet are currently with 12.9M and 6.7M, respectively.
