Though not all celebrity offsprings have surpassed their parents&rsquo; illustrious careers, they have definitely put in enough work to make a name for themselves in the music industry and leave a mark of their own with original hits. Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of one of the biggest names in music history, Frank Sinatra, released a huge hit single in 1967, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin’."  She also recorded a hit song, "Somethin' Stupid" with her father and co-starred with Elvis Presley in the movie "Speedway" in 1968.

Daughter of Jazz legend Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole hit it big in the 1970s with R&B music and switched to traditional pop in the 1980s. Her 1991 album including covers of her father's songs, "Unforgettable... with Love," sold seven million copies in the U.S. and won seven Grammy Awards.

The son of Bob Dylan, one of the music industry’s leading songwriters, Jakob Dylan grew up to become the lead singer and primary songwriter for the rock band the Wallflowers. He has won a pair of Grammy Awards for his work with his band and he’s released two solo albums.

Daughter of actress Judy Garland, Liza Minelli won a Tony Award at age 19, setting off a career as a singer and actor on stage and screen. In 1972, at age 26, she won an Academy Award for her role in “Cabaret” and an Emmy Award for her TV special, "Liza with a Z." She’s gone on to win two more Tonys and release 11 studio albums.

King of Rock N’ Roll Elvis Presley's only daughter and heir to his multi-million dollar estate, Lisa Marie Presley decided to follow in her daddy's footsteps releasing her debut album "To Whom It May Concern" in 2003. The album found commercial success, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 charts.

Enrique Iglesias, son of one of the world's top-selling Spanish recording artists Julio Iglesias, has gone on to sell more than 70 million records and to place 27 No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks chart. Iglesias has had mainstream success as well, with five Top-5 singles, two No. 1 singles, and a Grammy Award. 

 The daughter of country music artist and actor Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus hit it big at age 13 starring in the Disney Channel musical sitcom “Hannah Montana.” In addition to a string of top-selling soundtrack albums from that show, Cyrus has scored three No. 1 solo albums and four more Top-5 albums. 

English actor Keith Allen's daughter Lily Allen chose the pop music route, where she's done quite well, especially in England. She's also had five songs chart on the U.S. pop charts.

Ziggy Marley recorded his first song with his siblings when he was 11 years old. After the death of his father, reggae icon Bob Marley, Ziggy took his father’s place in his band, the Wailers. He’s participated in eight studio albums with the family band, the Melody Makers, and he’s released seven albums of his own.

Singer Lenny Kravitz's daughter Zoë Kravitz is perhaps best known for her acting, having appeared in such films as "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015) and "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" (2018), though she is also a wonderful musician as one half of the group Lolawolf, which has collaborated with Miley Cyrus among others.

The daughter of Indian sitar master Ravi Shankar, Norah Jones has become one of the world’s top jazz artists, selling more than 50 million albums and winning nine Grammy Awards. Her 2002 debut album, "Come Away with Me," sold 27 million worldwide and won five Grammys.

Rosanne Cash is the daughter of Johnny Cash and a country musician like her father. She’s won four Grammy Awards and placed 11 singles at No. 1 on the Billboard Country chart.

The only child of Beatles guitarist George Harrison, Dhani Harrison grew up to be a professional multi-instrumentalist musician and singer-songwriter, co-founding the indie rock group Thenewno2 and becoming a member of the rock trio Fistful of Mercy along with Ben Harper and Joseph Arthur.  

Canadian actor Alan Thicke, who passed away in 2016, is the father of singer and record producer Robin Thicke. While Alan is best known for his work on the television series "Growing Pains," his son has had success with eight songs reaching the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart, including the No. 1 hit "Blurred Lines."

Rapper and movie star Will Smith is among the nation's most popular entertainers and his children, Jaden and Willow Smith, have both released music, with the latter's biggest hit—2010's "Whip My Hair"—reaching No. 11 on the Hot 100.
